Foreign Film Club

The Foreign Film Club of The Villages (http://emssdi.com/FFC/) invites members of the Brits ‘n’ US Club to join them in viewing films at one of their regular showings, on the 2nd & 4th Saturday and Sunday of the month at 1:00PM at Mulberry Recreation Center.  All films, even the ones in English are subtitled.

If you have suggestions for films your would like to see at the Foreign Film Club, please contact Jo Hudak at jeh1571@aol.com.  If there is a film that you feel would be a popular choice to show at a Brits ‘n’ US Club meeting, please contact Events@BritsnUS.club. as we may be able to make arrangements with the Foreign Film Club for a private showing.

There is a one-time fee of $5.00 to join the Foreign Film Club. However, you do not have to be a member to enjoy the films. There is a suggested donation for admission of $1.00 for members and $3.00 for non-members. All monies received are expended to benefit the audience of the Foreign Film Club.

The Foreign Film club purchases the DVDs  from Amazon.com and maintains an extensive library of donated and previously shown DVDs.   Paid members are allowed to take a DVD out for a 2-week period, for home viewing.

The mission of the Foreign Film Club is to select-well made films that present stories and viewpoints from a variety of countries in their native language, both as entertainment and as a means to widen our experience of various foreign cultures and also broaden our exposure and expand our information about the rest of the world.
