The Brits ‘N’ US Club’s Burns’ Supper was attended by 121 guests who experienced a wonderful evening of History, Drama, Pageantry, Camaraderie, and Fun. The evening started with a parade of the Clan banners; followed by the entrance and parade of the Haggis.

The Robert Burns’ “Ode to the Haggis” was recited as it was prepared for serving, and most everyone in attendance had a taste along with the neeps and tatties.  It was rather good…even better with a wee bit of whisky poured on top.  At the end of dinner there were a few toasts starting with a toast to the Immortal Memory of Robert Burns.  And because Burns was very much a ladies man, there was a light hearted toast to the Lassies, followed by a response by a lady and a toast to the Laddies.  The evening included entertainment from the Sounds of Scotland Pipe Band and the Celtic Village Show Band.  The evening closed with everyone singing Auld Lang Syne.
